To My Black Kings and Queens,
Yes, that is the title you deserve, even though you are worth so much more than that. Our black skin is tough so that we have the power to overcome any obstacle thrown our way. However our black skin is smooth and sweet to the touch. Our black skin glows! Radiating an endless amount of Love. A love that loves even when we should hate.
Our history in this country has not come and gone. Our friends and families live with the constant reminder that our black skin is seen as dirt by the white eye. Some have made it clear that they only see us as their inferiors. But, have you really stopped to wonder why?
